What a start to the season we have had this year! Last night, the new 2024/2025 Birtley East Primary School football team played their first games in the Chester-Le-Street Schools Football League and won both matches. Both games were tight but the children battled on and with fantastic team work and some fancy football skills they beat St Bede's in their first game 2-1 and then followed it up with a 3-2 win over Edmondsley Primary. Thank you to all of the parents and grandparents that came to support the team. Next week, we are playing at kibblesworth Academy if anyone would like to come and support us. Well done everyone - a super start and superb representation of Birtley East both on and off the pitch!
